Business Cards:
In the physical production of business cards, these were printed out at the standard business card size (85 x 55 mm) so that these are easy to carry around and hand out at things such as networking events. The cards were printed onto a thick 300 gsm matte paper stock, chosen for its sturdiness in its structure allowing people to handle them easily as well as being durable. The matte stock choice was also chosen since matte paper is typically good at enhancing colour when printing, which is what I wanted since my branding utilises more playful colour schemes.
Postcards:
In the print production of the postcard sets, these were also printed onto a thick matte 300 gsm paper stock, for the same reasons as my business cards, as well as to create an element of consistency in the production of my branding material. A small strip featured my brand colours and logos was also printed, wrapping this around the two postcard packs in order to hold each one together, whilst allowing the receiver to instantly recognise who the postcards are from. These were printed and produced at a size of A6, the standard size for postcards, making them a practical element of my branding which people can utilise and send off to others.
Notebooks:
Notebooks were printed and produced at a size of A5, again, allowing these to be practical in their use whilst still promoting my personal branding. These utilise a matte cover, slightly thicker than the inside pages in order to create a small separation between the two. For the inside pages it was decided to utilise blank paper, since these can then be used as appropriate, separating each element of my creative practice. For instance, the blank paper allows for drawing sketches as well as writing if one part of my practice or a specific brief asks for, particularly in the illustration side of my practice. These were bound together using a simple pamphlet stitch in order to give them a hand-crafted feel that reflects the more hands-on and 'all-round creative' part of my practice, utilising black thread to match the colour colours of my branding.
These notebooks were then packaged in order to give them more of a professional feel, as well as to keep them protected from damage if these were to be sold as sets or sent off to studios, etc, and were held together with a set of stickers featuring the same design branding as on the notebooks along with who they were designed by as an additional part of the packaging.
